YogaCare Mentorship Program
20 Hour Mentorship for registered yoga teachers This is a comprehensive continuing education program providing yoga teachers including new graduates and/or certified yoga teachers an opportunity to develop and enhance their yoga teaching skills, deepen their knowledge of the practice of yoga through personal study under the guidance and mentoring of an experienced mentor. Our 8-week program will involve practice teaching by video, zoom, and in studio to a group of yoga students and learning to assist them verbally and physically one on one with senior teacher Careen McNeil with 22 years of experience. You will learn how to teach to all levels from beginner to advanced, have a better understanding of the students' needs using props, and demonstrate the appropriate krama levels. With emphasis on sequencing, precision and alignment skills you will learn to incorporate meditation and chakras awareness into your yoga classes, providing customized and tailored yoga care essential to conduct your yoga classes.
